Yesterday, we explored how the global economy systematically exploits women’s labor—through pay gaps, unpaid caregiving, migrant exploitation, and the long shadow of COVID-19’s “she-cession.” We saw how even with rising education levels, women are held back by systemic barriers to leadership, workplace discrimination, and the devaluation of care work.
